About
Of course, the first question is to write about myself in the third person, or to just shoot from the hip. My instinct is to just shoot from the hip, and as you’ll see, if you stick around on here for a while, is that I center my life on being honest, and following my guts. It’s pretty much the only way to be, as far as I can tell.
I am a guy who’s been on the web for some time now. I am a certified teacher of High School English, a job that has taken me overseas for two years in England. I’m gay, and pretty damn proud of it. I am also attending grad school right now at Goddard College to earn my MFA in Creative Writing. So far, one year into the program, I’m still unsure about where all this writing will take me, but the journey has been fascinating. I’m also coming to terms with being a rural gay man, something I never thought possible only a few short years ago.
This site is dedicated to the things I come across throughout my journey. Photos, comments, thoughts, books, pieces of politics, a podcast, and connections with people from around my neighborhood and around the globe can all be found here.
I’m always interested in comments and discussion. If I post something you like, tell me so. If I post something you disagree with, well, all I can say is you’re happy to disagree, and I might try to engage with you on the topic, so long as you’re respectful. I do not suffer fools.
You can find me all over the internet, too. I’m a bit of an addict with regards to Facebook, Twitter, sometimes Tumblr, and certainly Flickr. Click on any of the links to the right to see my other forays into the web.
Thanks for dropping by!
